NPD CHIEF ORDERS RANDOM DRUG TESTING TO CAMANAVA POLICEMEN

Northern Police District Director, PSSUPT EDGARDO T LADAO led the members of the Command Group along with CAMANAVA Anti-Illegal Drugs operatives in the conduct of the random drug testing at the NPD headquarters yesterday. This is in relation to his directive of sustaining the aggressive and no let up drive against Anti-Illegal Drugs in CAMANAVA area.NPD Crime Lab administers drug testing to NPD Cops

 

The random drug testing was announced by PSSUPT LADAO following the conference presided by PSSUPT WILSON M AMPER, DEPUTY DISTRICT DIRECTOR FOR OPERATIONS which was attended by all NPD and CAMANAVA POLICE STATION’S POLICE NARCOTICS OPERATIVES regarding the assesment of police policy guidelines and provision as well as presentation of their accomplishments in relation to anti illegal drugs operation. The drug testing was administered by PSUPT FILEMON PORCINCULA of the NPD CRIME LABORATORY.

NPD Police tops crowd control tournament

The Northern Police District (NPD) is this year’s champion of the NCRPO Crowd Dispersal Management (CDM) competition held at the Rizal Park Elevated Ground in Manila. The NPD CDM contingentThe NPD bested the other four Police Districts and the Regional Public Safety Battalion (RPSB)in the show of skills and scenario solving ability in crowd control security operations.

New chief vows to revitalize NPD programs

Chief Supt. Rodolfo Magtibay, newly appointed director of the Northern Police District (NPD), said that a revitalized program will be implemented at the NPD. He said the new programjuly 5 2010 will be implemented before the end of the month after the completion of ongoing projects left by his predecessor Chief Supt. Samuel Pagdilao Jr., who now heads Region 6.“We admire General Pagdilao's projects, so itutuloy namin ito," Magtibay said. He said the anti-crime prevention program will be intensified. "Hopefully, before the end of the month, we can implement a revitalized anti-crime program," the new NPD director said. Magtibay emphasized that he wants his men to always act like respectable officers while on duty. "I want to remind my policemen that they must earn the respect of the people."
